This contemporary residential complex is located in Chania, in a seaside area of remarkable natural beauty and consists of small self-contained two-storey buildings with one unit on each level and develops in 2 zones along the slope of the land. At the highest point of the plot, in direct relation to the public road, a two-storey building is being developed with an underground parking space, a gym and storage spaces. The design embraces the powerful dipole of "open-closed" and "private-public," exploring the interaction between personal spaces and communal areas to create a harmonious living environment.
At the core of the design, the self-contained units are strategically laid out to provide maximum privacy while fostering a sense of connectivity through thoughtfully designed intermediate spaces. These transitional areas are where the individual units engage with one another, creating a fluid movement within the complex that enriches the experience of both residents and visitors. This dynamic interaction between the private and public realms is a key element of the project's identity.
With a coastal location offering breathtaking, unobstructed sea views, the buildings are oriented to take full advantage of the natural surroundings. Each unit comes with its own private swimming pool, providing residents with an intimate outdoor retreat, while additional amenities include both outdoor and closed parking spaces for convenience. The complex also features a communal space on the roof, designed to foster a sense of community.
