The proposal serves the program in an exemplary way, solving within the credible form of an elliptical dome, two sub-areas: one with the program's services covered and another semi-outdoor waiting sub-area. The semi-outdoor sub-area is defined by rotating louvers that provide protection from the wind or strong sun when necessary. The shiny surface of the dome is facing south and is covered by self-cleaning glass in combination with photovoltaic panels. The shiny surface of the dome, as a convex mirror, bears the images of existing buildings or the sky. In addition, it is equipped with special lighting systems, which illuminate the structure as well as the pier area with a different color during the departure or arrival of boats.
