Free Thinking Zone is a unique kind of place. Its a Concept bookstore for contemporary art and thinking, hosting provoking debates, thrilling discussions, wonderful books and great coffee.
Its founder, Areti Georgili, is a special doer, thinker, entrepreneur, who love to bring people and different ideas together. Designed and established in 2011, it is located at the crossroads between Kolonaki square and Exarcheia square, trying to bridge two opposite worlds.
Design of such a special space was a challenge, and this exact bridging of two sides of dipoles was introducedas a design principle too: a bright orange line begins from the public space outside and divides the space in two distinctive parts: black and white, dark and white, drinks and books.
And lots of freedom on the thin line in between.
