The office building of the insurance company VICTORIA consists of 7 floors with an area of 2,800 m2 and three levels of underground parking with an area of 1,800 m2.
The architectural office PARTHENIOS Architects + Associates undertook the conversion of the building from a medical clinic to an office space after the completion of the configuration of the outer shell and before the construction of the internal partitions.
The main connecting component was the optimal use of the interior patio of the building and its conversion from a simple “skylight” into a lung of ventilation and solar space. The upgrade of the atrium gives it the character of an active vital nucleus, which has a decisive effect on the quality of life and consequently on productivity.
The choices of “warm” colors and materials, such as wood as a cladding material for horizontal and vertical surfaces, follow the same philosophy. The color thematic units per floor contribute to the better orientation of the visitor and at the same time visually break away from the usual monotony that we observe in most professional spaces.
