Residence Complex in Voula

The residential complex of 247 m2 is located in the area of Voula and consists of 3 independent residences, which are formed on its level and on 2 more floors.

The complex consists of a single building volume in the shape of "C" as regards the ground floor and A floor levels, which transforms into a "P" shape at the level of the B floor. In essence, it is the joining of 2 building volumes, in a relationship that follows the turn of the plot, and is achieved through a "neck", which at the same time creates a protected courtyard-"patio" towards the West. In the volume to the north are the bedrooms; to the south are the living areas - living room and dining room - while the kitchen of each residence can be found in the intermediate zone. Between the two volumes, on the north side, is the central staircase, which vertically connects the 4 levels (basement, ground floor, first and second floors).

The entire composition is characterized by intense volume between the spaces, where they sometimes project and sometimes recede, and creating interesting intermediate spaces.

Elements with a particularly strong presence in the ensemble are the architectural curtains, vertical and horizontal, which frame the balconies and when they "frame" the perspective towards the view, and when they function as sliding curtains, which protect from the weather, but also protect the privacy of the premises, in relation to the neighboring buildings.

The white color used on the surfaces of these architectural elements and exteriors makes their appearance more intense, in the contrast created with the building's surfaces in a beige shade. The marble material was chosen for the orthomarbling of the vertical element that leads you to the entrance of the building as well as as a coating material for the stairs in the surrounding area.
