Residence on Voulgaroktonou Str. in Kifissia

The volumes of the house on Voulgaroktonou Str. in Kifissia, follow a strict geometry and are articulated around a semi-outdoor space that will serve as a pleasant outdoor living area during the summer months next to the swimming pool. The main axis of movement of the house is from north to south, ending at the semi-outdoor space.

The composition consists of three volumes. Two are located in the northern part, of which the eastern one is single-story and includes the kitchen, while the western one is two-story and includes the dining room and living room on the ground floor and the children's bedrooms with their bathroom on the first floor. The third volume is located south of the semi-outdoor space, is also single-story, and includes the main bedroom with a bathroom.

In the eastern part of the plot, there is the swimming pool, and north of it, in contact with the kitchen, a second covered outdoor living area is formed with a pergola.

The garage entrance is formed at the western boundary of the plot in the form of a ramp that leads from the road level to the basement level.

The surrounding area is divided into two levels, one is on the same level as the ground floor of the house, and the second is located in the southern part of the plot, access to which is via a staircase.

The goal was for the overall composition to harmoniously integrate into the environment with limited heights and without creating an excessive impact on the landscape.
